Class Description:
Students can log in to post assignments, chat and receive feedback 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Each student will have the opportunity to create their very own SITCOM or HOUR DRAMA episode.
This class is limited to 10 students.
Working television writers will share multiple avenues to creating structure, characters, scenework, pacing, rewrites, finding agents and pitching.
Our instructors will cover all of the elements of writing a professional television script. Each dynamic will be shared in detail.

This class will be led by Randy Pearlstein for the 8 weeks, and will feature guest writers as well. Each will share their experiences and favorite approaches for writing for television. Lectures and Individual Feedback are posted on a weekly basis.

Randy Pearlstein was a regular cast member on CHAPPELLE'S SHOW and is currently a principal on Comedy Central's MICHAEL AND MICHAEL HAVE ISSUES. Randy is a professor of film and television writing at RUTGERS UNIVERSITY and is on the faculty at the Peoples Improv Theater (The PIT) in New York City. He has also written numerous screenplays including Lions Gate's CABIN FEVER. Randy studied directing under Mike Nichols and annually leads seminars for the esteemed DIRECTORS GUILD OF CANADA.
